Waiheke Ocean Adventures is a family run business based on Waiheke Island offering private fishing and scenic charters. Originally Adventure Fishing Charters operated by Phil and Gailene Scott, Pounamu and myself took over the business in 2019.
A love of the ocean and anything ocean related: fishing, surfing, diving, was the inspiration for Waiheke Ocean Adventures. Our vessel Moki VI is a custom built Fyran 595 with plenty of power from the 150hp Yamaha outboard. She has lots of volume making her a comfortable and stable fishing platform.

Having the privilege to hunt and gather a feed in our back yard and to share that adventure is what makes operating a charter business so special. We have a deep love and appreciation for the ocean and feel very privileged to ply our trade in the Hauraki Gulf. As skipper, I will be determined to put you on the fish but also educate you around sustainable fishing practices. We must do everything we can to ensure the health of our oceans for future generations.
